American Flag Patchwork Throw Quilt Pattern, Independence Day Quilt Pattern

This American Flag Patchwork Throw Quilt pattern is a nice size to take on a summer picnic or to watch the fireworks. It finishes at 60” wide x 72” tall.

Fabric Requirements:

Various grey fabrics for background to total 2.5 yards.

Several small grey 2.5” square scraps (52 total) for around of the flag. (These can be cut from the background fabrics or pulled from your scrap bin.)

Various white fabrics for flag to total 1.25 yards (or 18 – 2.5” strips) (or 114 – 2.5” squares)

Various red fabrics to total 1.25 yards (or 18 – 2.5” strips) (or 128 – 2.5” squares)

Various blue fabrics to total .5 yards (or 5 – 2.5” strips) Solid white fabric .25 yards for optional stars ½ yard of binding fabric 4.5 yards of backing fabric 2 yards of 95” wide batting
